Today, Pakistan Philatelic Association members had a meeting
with Chief Post-master Fayaz Gull. M.A. Naeem, Jameel Ahmad, Ahmed Shahzad
Bhatti, Arshad Ghori, Haroon Ahmad Khan, Khwaja Mughees, Muhammad Usman, Rana
Yunas & Imtiaz Sabzwari, all participated in the meeting that was held
mainly to discuss about the progress of our preparations for the UPU day exhibit. Mr. Fayaz Gull seemed to be very thrilled to be hosting this exhibit and reminded us again and again that he’ll do everything in his power to spread the
love for philately — and he’ll be happy to host any and every future
exhibition alongside us.
Mr. M.A. Naeem informed Mr. Fayaz Gull, that the association
has already sent the exhibit frames ahead to the vendors for restoration, and
they will be all ready and as good as new before the exhibit.
The final date for this exhibition will be discussed in the next
meeting, whether it’ll be held on either 9th October or 11th
October. All members will be informed about the finalized date, as soon as it’s
decided.
We urge all the members to get started with their collection preparations
for the exhibit, so that they’ll be able to take part in the exhibition without
